Caring for your period swimsuit
Just like with period underwear, it's easy to care for your period swimsuit. After your swim or when you get home from the beach, make it a habit to rinse it with clean water to remove blood as well as any sand, salt, or chlorine residue. Avoid using greasy soap or harsh household products, as these can damage the swimsuit prematurely.
Next, machine wash your swimsuit with the rest of your laundry, preferably on a short cycle at no more than 86°F (30°C). High temperatures can damage the absorbent layer. As with period underwear, skip the dryer! Air drying is recommended. This way, you’ll keep your swimsuit in great shape for years to come!
